Black Women And Terroristic Threats By Police

In 2012, Crystal Pope and two of her friends were stopped and frisked by male NYPD officers. The 25-year-old mother of two, told Fusion she felt violated during the stop-and-frisk. ”We felt really powerless. It was overwhelming. It was degrading.” The police, she says, were searching the area for a male rapist. The officers overstepped their boundaries.Taken from Shine For Harriet
I Got Stopped By The Police Twice

Unfortunately in the United States, police officers serve as terrorists to the African community. And while people select to ignore it or act like it's warranted, it is indeed a U.S. nightmare. It is hell on Earth to be exact, for we do not know if we will make it out alive, when those lights go flashing and the siren alerts us that we are to stop immediately.

For black people, we have already committed a crime by showing our beautiful brown faces.

In this video, I talk about my experience with the police just recently, and what it prompted me to think about, as the experience was happening.
