Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines Should Awaken Us To Some Realities

Photos (captured by CNN) are some of the most recent presentations of the devastation encompassed through Tacloban City, Philippines where typhoon Haiyan showed its might, unfortunately killing thousands of people. It will probably take weeks before an actual account of people (whom are dead) can be found, much less identified.

With no water, no food, no housing and loss of loved-ones, one can barely even imagine the horrific trauma the people of the Philippines are enduring; within the country and throughout the world as family members have to wait to find out if their loved-ones are still alive after enduring this hellifying experience. Typhoon Haiyan, described as apocalyptic errs on the side of demonizing human tragedy as its ferocious winds swept a magnitude of adults and children with little to no discrimination.

Given the amount of devastation throughout the world, (and we have seen a lot of it as of late) one can not help but question at times if by fluke various areas are simply selected by mother nature, deciding to take on an earthly cleansing or if at all man-made egoistic actions affect the natural course of the Universe. Take for example, HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) which many of us (who read) recognize it as a U.S. military defense program which has generated controversy for many years, as selected researchers deem it of obtaining secret electromagnetic warfare capabilities which could potentially be designed to forward the US military’s stated goal of achieving "full-spectrum dominance by the year 2020" (globalsearch). Additionally some would say that HAARP can and has been used for weather modification, that have caused tsunamis and earthquakes, disrupting global communications systems, and a host of additional man-made disturbances.

Certainly it is a question too large to be asked by mainstream Americans as such thought process is discouraged with hopes that at least people of the U.S. simply sit in their "humble" abodes and watch the television merely being thankful that they themselves have not endured the horror that exists within the physical realm that is touching the minds and souls, of the beautiful people of the Philippines.

For those who are concerned, much like myself, our hearts and thoughts are with you. No one deserves to have to experience such devastation. Wishing you psychological strength, in the midst of anguish and turmoil.

Indeed, there is much to be thankful for in the midst of trying times. And with that being said, this would be yet an additional reason one would take a lesson to what is happening in our surroundings and change the dynamic with which we operate; before it is too late. Today, there simply is no room to manage within the constructs of what is superficial.
