Green is representative of so many things. It is the color of the Earth and is symbolic to the Universal principle of Harmony. Khepera Adornments presents the Harmonious Earth Collection of tribal-chic, ethno-earthy "Green" jewellery for a very affordable price. Make the statement that you respect all that is natural; particularly green in hue. Who says looking great has to challenge your pockets?
Now About Green:
Green is the color of Harmony & Balance. From a psychological perspective, it is said to balance the heart and the emotions, which in turn, creates equilibrium between our head and the heart. Green is also the color of growth, spring time, renewal and rebirth. Green renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, restoring us back to a sense of well being. This Earth is in great need of preserving its greenery, and only we can help by respecting and cultivating nature and the Great Earth.
Green is an emotionally positive color, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. This is a color that has a strong sense of right or wrong, inviting good judgment. It sees both sides of the equation, weighs them up, and then usually takes the moral stand in making appropriate decisions. On the negative side, it can be judgmental and over-cautious. (Not always a bad thing...) The color green relates to stability and endurance, giving us persistence and the strength to cope with adversity.
Finally, green is the color of prosperity and abundance, of finance and material wealth. It relates to the business world, to real estate and property. Prosperity gives a feeling of safety to green. You loving this color yet? You should....

Making A Bold Statement Is Practically Necessary
Make A Bold Statement: The African Inspired Chunky Golden Resin Rhinestone Necklace will be a remarkable addition to your jewelry wardrobe. Rich in earth tones, this beaded necklace can particularly be worn on special occasions, and has the versatility to additionally dress up casual attire. Find this fine piece of jewelry at Khepera Adornments.
As per the dictionary (a somewhat irrelevant source) but most currently dated definition of "Bold" can be described as, "Not afraid of taking risks and making difficult decisions..." An additional definition states, "To be strong, confident and determined." Whatever your preference is of a definition of "Bold", essentially in these days and times, one absolutely should (in my opinion) work towards this end.
You will find that many of the things in this life will come easy...but truth be told, much of what we can truly appreciate comes with a level of hard work, diligence, determination and ....BOLDNESS. Sometimes, you'll flat out ignore the fact that others may feel compromised when you exercise this quality, and that's okay! They will be alright! In the meantime, exercise your right to be magnificent. Become very comfortable in your own skin, and be the original talented and creative person you were destined to be. Duplications are not necessary.
There's no telling when you will read this post, but you have not stumbled upon it by accident. When you're finished reading (and enjoying the small excerpt of music), walk directly over to the mirror and claim your perfection right there at the reflection of yourself. Own your greatness...and get to work. (Don't stay in that mirror too long! Haha!)

Khepera or (Khepri, Kheper, Khepra, Chepri) the solar diety of Ancient Khemet, is linked to the scarab beetle (Kheprer), which means "To Become". This is due to its ability to roll balls of dung across the ground; an act that the Khemites saw as a symbol of the forces that move the sun across the sky, thus holding the attributes of self-generation and self-renewal. ~~Third Eye is the natural part of each of us, consisting of all senses and the mind working together in a supernatural way; Divine Consciousness; Acute Awareness.
The pineal gland, ("third eye") is a small endocrine gland. It produces melatonin, which is the hormone that affects patterns of being awake and sleep, (considered seasonal functions). It is located near to the center of the brain between the two hemispheres. It is located in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join. The pineal gland is not isolated from the body by the blood-brain barrier system. Its hue is that of red & gray, and is an approximate size of 8 mm in humans. The third eye is said to have a lens that opens to see behind physical reality...

Oyá - Tribal Goddess Collection - Khepera Adornments
Go Ahead...Click The Orange Button:
This uniquely designed Multicolor Tribal Print Fabric Choker depicts the beauty and power of the Yoruba Orisha (Goddess) Oyá. She holds ownership to the market place! This necklace can be worn year round, as these are the beautiful colors of the Earth.
Oyá is a powerful female warrior Orisha. She wears nine scarves of different colors to represent her lost children. She resides in the marketplace and manipulates the changing fortunes made through business. She is the Orisha of storms and wind, and is the protector of women. She aids in rapid transformation and is the Orisha of rebirth and new life. She is the teacher of truth and bringer of justice.
Fear Her Not, For She Is The Orisha Of Transformation. She brings forth death, so that we may have new life. (Sound familiar, eh? Now who else do folks talk about that evokes similar energy?) One could think of this as literal, yet it is no more literal than when we speak of the ending of the world...(certainly, as we know it). Let us be open to the fact that there are a vast array of powerful energy forces in this Universe that prompt and facilitate change. Westernized thinking would potentially have one to fear new information for those who have not heard of it. Yet you have not entered this page by accident. Consider yourself as one of the fortunate ones, to have been introduced (for those who do not know Oyá). In the midst of her wrath, she makes things beautiful, if you are able to withstand her storms. Seem like a rough period these days? You are experiencing or witnessing the mighty midst of transformation.
Evoke your Oyá energy!

We Are In The Age Of Accountability...
In case you have not noticed...truly, we are living in an age of transition. What we once knew to be is no more. Moreover, the things that we had hoped for from a previous time in our lives is no longer afforded to us in this new age. We must have new thoughts and new ideologies; new standards to live by, if we are going to excel in this new lifespan. Our hearts must be in the right place. Our minds and spirits must be aligned with the great universal shift that shall and will force us all to take this life just a little bit more seriously, if we have not done so already.
Take the time to re-assess those things that (you think) are of utmost importance to you... Chew on them, analyze them, question them, meticulously evaluate them, and make sure that if you are satisfied with your answers, that those "things" that you think are sooo important, are not of a trivial nature. Because if they are, surely you will know, as it will be evidenced by the conditions with which you live.
Respect this Earth, and the people in it. And even when someone has offended you, --you don't have to turn the other cheek, only to be offended on the other side of your face, but think about your next response, before you make a decision. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to step up a level in becoming a more responsible being.

White Sage Smudge Sticks For Spiritual Cleansing & Purification Of Your Surrounding Environment
White sage is an herb that is native to the Mediterranean. The leaves of this plant are silvery-green and have a fuzzy coating. Unlike other types of sage, white sage is not commonly used in culinary applications. However, it may offer several other important benefits.
White Sage Cleansing Ritual:
I. Before performing a cleansing of a space, it’s best to cleanse yourself, mentally, emotionally, and physically. For the physical cleansings, take a shower and use a sea salt scrub with peppermint or take a hot bath with sea salts. For the mental and emotional aspect, as you bathe, picture all frustrations, annoyances, and disappointments leaving you and pouring down the drain along with the dirty water.
II. Put on fresh, clean clothes that are comfortable. Light-colored, natural fabrics work well in most cases. If you are performing the cleansing ritual as a result of highly negative activity, its best to wear black clothing to protect yourself from whatever is causing the disruption. See yourself surrounded by white light and beam it out as far as you can. This protective shell will serve to allow you to complete the ritual safely.
III. Picture whatever force will be helping you with the cleansing (God, gods, goddesses, watchers, elemental forces, etc.) and ask for assistance. When you arrive at the space you will be cleansing, take a moment to meditate on your purpose for being there. Take several deep breaths and let all tension leave you.
Upon entering the home or space, sprinkle Holy Water and say, “God’s peace be in this home and in all who live here.” – Optional, but recommended.
IV. Light the sage, sweetgrass braid, and incense (cedar or sandalwood). Once they begin to glow, blow out the flame. Put them in a shell or fireproof bowl to avoid burning anything.
Pick up the sage wand and beginning at the entrance of the house or other space, move counterclockwise through the space. This direction is called “wittershins” and is the direction used for banishing unwanted energy. If you feel so compelled, you may also clear the space moving in a clockwise direction. Try it both ways and see which feels right to you. Move along the entire perimeter of the home, waving the smoldering sage wand up and down or in a circular motion to allow the smoke to permeate the area. Outline windows and doorways, open closets and cabinets, to insure that there is no place for the negative energy to hide. As you wave the wand, say the prayer that appears at the end of this section. If you have a favorite affirmation or prayer you feel comfortable with, then feel free to use that instead.
V. If the home has more than one floor, cleanse the main floor first, then proceed to the other floors. Once this is complete, pick up the sweet grass braid and move around the perimeter once again, this time in a clockwise direction. Imagine light reaching to every corner of the space. At the end of this portion of the cleansing, thank whatever Powers helped you to clear the space and declare that this space is now filled with love, light, peace, and happiness.
Cleansings can be done whenever you feel it needs it. Symptoms that tell you the space needs to be cleared include a heavy feeling in the air, unusual or more frequent moodiness of the people living in the space, a stretch of “bad luck,” or any other type of disruption taking place.
In between cleansings, the area can be kept clear by burning cedar or sandalwood incense and by being thankful for the many wonderful things in your life.
You shall be amazed of the calming effect in your environment!

OSHUN, Who Is Full Of Understanding...
by Abeni Bamidele
The Power Of Oshun!
These adornments depict the beauty and power of the Yoruba Orisha Oshun. She is the Goddess of Love. Known for healing the sick, and bringing fertility and prosperity. She is associated with the number five and the color yellow or amber. The peacock and vulture are sacred to her. Offerings to Oshun include sweet things such as honey, white wine, oranges, or pumpkins, as well as perfume. She represents sweetness, beauty, and flowing joy.
O yes...but get her angered and she is a force to be reckoned with...
Learn More Of The Gifts Of Oshun
I highly recommend this book for women's enlightenment. An absolutely great and informative book by Asst. Professor Vanessa K. Valdés at the University of New York titled, "Oshun's Daughters" examines representations of African diasporic religions from novels and poems written by women in the United States, the Spanish Caribbean, and Brazil. In spite of differences in age, language, and nationality, these women writers all turn to variations of traditional Yoruba religion (Santería/Regla de Ocha and Candomblé) as a source of inspiration for creating portraits of womanhood.
Truly, this book will inspire and rejuvenate you!
