Do You Respect Your Sexual Energy?

10 Sensual Goddess Commandments
By Lady Shepsa

1. Thou shalt know you are a goddess.

2. Thou shalt love yourself first.

3. Thou shalt treat your body as a shrine.

4. Remember sacred sex, keep it holy.

5. Honor the sacred feminine and masculine energies.

 6. Thou shalt not ignore your intuition.

7. Thou shalt speak your truth.

 8. Thou shalt have an open loving heart.

 9. Thou will experience pleasure every day.

10. Thou shalt twirl in orgasmic juiciness.

Join me, as I talk about the impact of the media and its misconceptions, stereotypes and demonization of African American women relating to sexuality. Additionally, I briefly discuss the history within the U.S., holding African American women captive and raping them over a period of decades. Based on these historical accounts, the U.S. has created propaganda to perpetuate the myth that African American women are promiscuous. Any form of high-risk sexual behavior from this population is the direct result of the embedded trauma that they have endured since their forced entry into the U.S.

Call To Action

In the provided video, I encourage young women to change the cycle of any potential behavior that would lead to high-risk sexual behavior. Additionally, this is a call to action, to discipline one's self to recognize their worth, understand their sexual energy, and utilize it in the most person-centered appropriate way.

Curing Uterine Fibroids, One Food At A Time

What are Fibroids?

Fibroids are tumors that develop from the smooth muscle layer of the uterus. They are the most common growths of the uterus and female pelvic organs. These compact tumors are made of smooth muscle cells and fibrous connective tissue that develop in the uterus. One estimation suggests that between 20 to 50 percent of women of the reproductive age have fibroids. Many women go undiagnosed. Some estimates state that up to 30 to 77 percent of women will develop fibroids sometime during their childbearing years, although only about one-third of these fibroids are large enough to be detected by a health care provider during a physical examination.

Growth of fibroids is dependent on estrogen production. This is the reason why fibroids have the potential to enlarge during pregnancy (when increased levels of estrogen are present). After a menopausal stage fibroids can potentially regress (when there is decreased levels of estrogen).

Fibroids can exist as a single large growth or multiple growths. They can be located on the surface of the uterus, in the wall of the uterus, or in the uterine cavity.

Most fibroids do not cause any symptoms and many women are unaware that they have them. When they do cause symptoms, it ranges from abnormal bleeding to pelvic pressure.

What are signs and symptoms of fibroids?

     1.  Abnormal menstrual cycle
  •  Abnormally heavy menstrual bleeding.
  •  Abnormally heavy menstrual periods that come more frequent than your normal cycle (less than every 28-30 days).
2.  Pelvic pain/pressure
  •   Painful menstrual periods.
  •   Pain during or after sexual intercourse.

  •   Pressure on the bladder which can cause frequent urination.
  •   Acute or severe pelvic pain from twisting of the fibroid on its stalk, or from degeneration of the fibroid.
3    3. Frequent urination or constipation

      4. Bloating/protruding belly

      5. Reproductive Dysfunction

Foods To Avoid Eating (raises estrogen levels)
  •       Bacon
  •       Sausage
  •       Red meats
  •       Egg yolks
  •       Avocados
  •       Cookies and other pastries
  •       Snacks such as potato chips
  •       Dairy products (feed the tumors)
  •       Caffeine drinks (coffee, sodas)

Foods You Should Eat (known to shrink fibroids)

* Drink plenty of water- Flushes out the toxins in the body.
*Juicing additionally helps to get the benefit of all the whole fruits and vegetables at once.

Additional Information:
The liver plays an important role in removing waste products from the body. There is some evidence to support the theory that a poorly functioning liver can contribute to the formation of uterine fibroids. Modern life introduces many chemicals and environmental toxins into the body which can overload the liver. Many juices, particularly those including fruits and vegetables with the B vitamin, can really help support and cleanse the liver.

People Will Laugh At You At Your Expense

by Abeni Bamidele

laugh [laf-ter, lahf-]

v. laughedlaugh·inglaughs
v.intr.
1. To express certain emotions, especially mirth or delight, by a series of spontaneous, usually          unarticulated sounds often accompanied by corresponding facial and bodily movements.
2. To show or feel amusement or good humor
3. a. To feel or express derision or contempt; mock

People will laugh at you at your expense. They can just be so ignorant at times. It's sickening. When you enter into a room of men dressed in black suits and ties...white shirts, and you're sporting beige khaki pants, loafers and a tie dye shirt.

They'll laugh.

When the latest trend in hair styling is a graduated cut and you're still rockin' the beehive.

They'll laugh at you.

When everyone in the gym wears a size 2 and you are over there on the corner treadmill sweating bullets at a size 16.

They will laugh.

You're a student and you have entered into the oratorical contest. Most contestants are reciting traditional constitutional speeches and you stand up on the stage and present the audience with a radical civil rights call to action which you have created.

While they may be apprehensive...They'll still laugh.

People will laugh, and laugh, and laugh........

But know this: No matter what you are doing, especially if it goes against the grain of what the common folks do, you will definitely be a viable candidate to be ridiculed, laughed at or even ignored.

That means, that you are on the right track. Keep doing what you're doing. Do it with fervor. Exaggerate your expression. Give meaningful eye contact. Be confident in the midst of those foolish people, who sit or stand and laugh.

Each chuckle shall propel you to greatness. Your success is in those laughs. Until one harmonious day...those very ones that held their heads back with their mouths hanging open and their arms flailing will either have to 1. sit down and shut up, 2. wish they were a part of whatever it is that you are doing...or 3. choke on a fly that flew into their pie hole.

You Are Uniquely And Brilliantly Adorned.
