Silence Speaks Volumes...

You know, 2013 has got to be the most silent year that I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I've simply gotten to the point that there are grave limitations to what I'd like to talk about to people. There is so much trivia in the world, and I would emphasize; particularly in the United States. Yes, the U.S. is bombarded with stupidity to watch on television, to listen to on radio, and dare not look at a magazine while standing in the market shopping for food. One will find a recap of the stupidity within the other media forums. And have I mentioned social networks? One could find a barrage of foolishness there as well. It's gotten to where I don't even wish for my eyes to focus on stupidity or hear it. Surely, one wouldn't find me engaging in it as well.

I recognize that I am rambling, but so what...it's my blog, isn't it? At any rate, my point (and I do have one) is that one could learn an awful lot if he or she simply kept their mouths shut and listen and observe. Not only that, you have the potential of gaining a heightened sensitivity to just about everything. I find myself, hearing the next thing that comes out of a person's mouth before they even say it. I can tell when someone toxic has entered the room even when the room is filled with people. Most importantly, I've learned that nature speaks to us when we are quiet. And let me tell you...she has a lot to say.

I can tell you that I have not watched television for at least six years, yet somehow, I remain in touch with current events. (No real magic there folks....I read.) Yes, I've become a bit of an outcast when it comes to answering questions such as, "Hey, did you watch Dumb-Dumbs Go To College last night?" My usual response is, "Uugh...no."

Take time out of your busy, hectic, noisy lives and take a ride on the wild-side and just be quiet. It will benefit you, and it will surely benefit us, as we won't have to listen to such...idle chatter.

Isn't it intriguing how the cricket is meticulously designed like that of a leaf? Or have you not noticed?

Despite it all,

You Are Uniquely & Brilliantly Adorned.
