Jackson, Mississippi born jazz musician and vocalist Cassandra Wilson has such the sultry voice, that it can truly soothe the soul. The very talented Ms, Wilson has the musical capability to combine the sounds of the blues, country and folk music, which allows her to infiltrate a multitude of musical genres. If beauty and talent wasn't enough, she also received a Ph.D in Arts from Milsaps College. Ms. Wilson shares membership with her mother within Sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha.
