Promote Great Health With Pumpkin Seeds


It's definitely high season for pumpkins, and what better time than to eat the seeds. They are absolutely good for you (so long as you never have them covered with sodium.) Eeek!

Try this recipe for a great pumpkin seed snack.

Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Seed Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2
cups pumpkin seeds, rinsed and patted dry with paper towels

tablespoons butter, melted

tablespoons sugar
1 1/2
teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions

  • 1Heat oven to 325°F.
  • In small bowl, mix all ingredients. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet in single layer.
  • 3Bake about 20 minutes, stirring once or twice, until seeds begin to brown. Allow them to cool.
  • Enjoy! (You can even sprinkle them over your favorite warm cereals or yogurt!)
